RuPaul’s Drag Race has released a bonus scene from the Queens of Talk episode. We don’t get any extra footage of the interviews themselves, just a chance to see the introductions that the girls filmed for The RuPaul Show.
The clip features each drag queen dancing & lip synching the theme song. Some highlights of the clip include:
- Trinity didn’t get Chaz’ name right in the intro with cue cards either.
- BenDeLaCreme describes her guests as the top and bottom buns of the Cher family sandwich. She’s probably the most entertaining of the queens.
- Courtney can’t help herself from singing along to the them song instead of lip synching. She also lets viewers know that Ru didn’t fade & shrink in the wash, which was cute.
- Darienne Lake sounds like she’s run a marathon. Don’t know if it was the dancing that did her in or if she was just that nervous.
- Adore lets herself get flustered by her mic pack falling. She uses the word ‘party’ liberally.
- Bianca Del Rio is professional but not all that funny.
- Joslyn Fox is ok. Not all that dynamic or funny.
Watch the clip for yourself. I think BenDeLaCreme was the clear winner in the intros, but Courtney was still good. Which queen is your favorite?
